When is the best time to visit French Riviera?
You can visit the French Riviera year-round. The best months for tours are April, May, September, and October June, July, and August mark the peak season, perfect for beach activities with warm air and sea temperatures. February is known for its lively carnivals, including the Lemon Festival in Menton and the Nice Carnival, while December is a special time with beautiful Christmas lights.

How long does a tour last?
It all depends on the tour you choose.
A classic tour can last 3 hours.
A half day trip lasts 4 hours, and a day trip 8 hours

Can you visit French Riviera without a car?
Yes, the train stops in many places along the coast. If you wish to visit villages, a driver is recommended.

Do I need good walking shoes?
Comfortable shoes are always a good idea. Places like Eze or Villefranche are really challenging with high heels!

Are tour itineraries adapted for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, we can adapt itineraries on request. It's best to let your guide know in advance so that we can adapt the itinerary to suit your disability.

Tours can be adapted if you are travelling with children.

How far in advance do I need to book?
May, June, September and October are the most popular periods for guided tours. During these times, book early to ensure your visit. Out of season, you can book even at the last minute.

What are the cancellation conditions?
If possible, and depending on my availability, we can postpone the tour.
Out of season, Les Petits Voyages d'Azur can cancel a guided tour up to 24 hours in advance.
From April to October, we refund up to 15 days in advance. Up to 8 days in advance,
we will refund 50% of the tour price. After that, the tour is non-refundable and non-changeable.
For tours with cruise ship: last-minute refund for classic tours or Shore Tour excursion only if cruise mentioned on booking and on official cruise document for any change of itinerary.
