Travelling with our little ones is quite different from a romantic weekend!
Ad for me, I need to find a common interest so that everyone can fully enjoy his holidays.

Here are some ideas that will certainly satisfy everyone during a family trip to the French Riviera
1. Nice: Parc Phoenix
Located at the entrance of Nice, near the airport, this park has already made unanimity among our blond heads!
This park allows you to discover a flora and fauna in a wonderful setting.
Between small farms, ducks, crocodiles, iguanas, wallabies, peacocks, flamingos, parrots, there is something for everyone!
The tropical greenhouse also allows to evolve through an amazing flora (called green diamond, it is the largest in Europe!)
The different spaces revolve around the central lake.
Very easy to access with a stroller, you will also find a children’s playground and fast food.

2. Beaulieu sur Mer : Villa Kerylos
For all the small budding archaeologists, this magnificent Greek villa will delight them.
You will plunge into the Greek civilization with the discovery of this house and its spaces: peristyle, triklinos, oïkos,... and to you the explanations about Apollo, Hermes and the silenes!
Not to spoil anything, the villa is located at the beginning of the Baie des Fourmis in Beaulieu, part of the most beautiful bays of the Côte d'Azur.
A path leads to Beaulieu in St Jean Cap Ferrat. This well-appointed trail is accessible to all and offers magnificent views of the coast .

3. Saint Vallier de Thiey : The cave of Baume Obscure
Not far from Nice, the pleasure of visiting a cave is combined with its maximum when you can also combine a treasure hunt! Nothing attracts more attention than when you have to start looking for the famous treasure!
It is also possible to combine the visit of the cave with the observation of the stars at the planetarium.
Another cave also nearby is that of Saint Cezaire.
It’s up to you to choose the one you prefer!

4. Monaco : the oceanographic museum
The must-see of the Rock, overlooking the sea from the top of its cliff!
Your children (and the older ones!) will not fail to discover the tropical and Mediterranean aquariums, sea turtles, and the different maritime collections of the museum.
The museum is located in the immediate vicinity of the Prince’s Palace. Do not miss the changes of the guard, in order to amaze the eyes of those who love princes and princesses!
The large apartments and the car collection of S.A.S The Prince of Monaco will have the pleasure of satisfying everyone’s curiosity!

5. Sainte Marguerite / Saint Honorat : the islands of Cannes
Combine a boat ride, a walk in the open air and a fortress that houses the cell of the man in the iron mask, it is possible on the island Sainte Marguerite, off Cannes
Always in order to stimulate their desire to discover with their desire to move, do not hesitate to make this small excursion!
The crossing is short and you can enjoy all day long this nice getaway
Smaller, Ile Saint Honorat is no less beautiful. It houses a monastery that is still inhabited. Several monuments are open to visit.
The monks produce wine and liquor that you can taste and buy.

6. Grasse : create your own perfume

9.Spend a night with the wolves : Parc Alpha Loup
In the Mercantour, this unique experience will leave a lasting memory in the hearts of your children! Discovering this protected species of wolves in its natural environment is just amazing.
Small farm and creative workshops are also on the program.
It is possible to spend only the day, but I highly recommend you to stay for the evening. Cottage or perched hut

10. Sillans waterfall
It is sometimes enough to return inland to discover a little piece of paradise.
The Sillans waterfall is a spectacular place that will delight your eyes and amaze the little ones.
Natural site, access is difficult in summer because very popular. But out of season, it is quite affordable.
It is possible to park at the city parking lot, and walk to the gazebo to admire the waterfall (there are a few steps)
It is also possible to park at the parking lot of the waterfall and enjoy a path that will take you closer to the water. Change of scenery guaranteed!

I did not mention the Gorges du Verdon, which alone deserve a blog. But if you love nature, I can only advise you this sublime place, with two possible roads (left bank and right bank) The right bank will take you on the road of Cretes with 15 belvederes to admire the gorges. Many activities are offered, but just like the French Riviera, the Gorges du Verdon are stormed during July/ August and it is more difficult to really appreciate the place at that time.
Needless to say, the French Riviera is full of water parks, animal parks, exotic gardens, ranches and pony rides!
But I especially wanted to share with you unique things to do in the region, to satisfy all ages, parents and children!
